In Dice Lords, players need to themselves come up with new ways of rolling dice so that they can achieve the highest score in each roll. Your objective is to have a score higher than the enemy, then unlock the necessary upgrades to defeat other enemies. What is more special is that your enemies in each round will be different and the higher the level you go, the more you have to face bigger enemies. Players need to be mentally prepared so that they can face major crises and not be psychologically manipulated during the process of conquering challenges. Most especially is that you will have to go from low levels to higher levels, facing the greatest threat which is the end of time.In this game, demons will appear even when you are standing on the dice-rolling platform, therefore players need to set traps around themselves to avoid them. Besides that, players also need to observe the actions of the opponent facing you and understand their thoughts in order to give you more opportunities. Players need to set specific goals, with careful calculations in each step to create the most worthy victory. In case you cannot find a way to resolve decisively, then the player will lose and have to conquer the challenges again from the beginning. If you encounter difficulties during gameplay, you can choose characteristic support features or suggestions for the correct direction to shorten the time to balance the score. After you gain worthy scores, the game will give you the opportunity to face enemies and you will use your abilities to fight them. Players can use direct attacks on them or can also set traps around to defeat them more easily. However, you also need to be decisive in situations and not let time drag on too long because it will make the opponent become stronger, while you gradually weaken in strength.
